The new employee training included analyzing customer data, identifying areas for improvement, and informing them.
This is a long-standing customer who has experienced a slump in sales this year.
I knew about the product categories, but I had no idea about the specific features of the 1,700 products.
Below is what I did.

1. Organize product data from last year and the same month last year
→ Identified two problem categories and one product
2. Research the market
Find out what your rival shops are doing with problem children
Offers, first view, SEO, etc.
3. Research the reviews
Read reviews of problem restaurants, including rival restaurants, carefully.
4. Think of a solution

The answer we arrived at was that the customer had always thought they needed to do it but had never done it, which was very convincing to us.
If we do that, we will probably not only be able to recover sales, which have fallen by more than 30%, but we will also be able to increase them even further.
Also, if we had analyzed the problem earlier, we could have responded earlier.
By analyzing the numbers and doing research, you can come up with solutions to problems.
This customer said, "This problem is deep-rooted," but rather than worrying and fretting, he was able to find a solution to the problem and eliminate his anxiety by getting his hands moving and using the mouse to investigate.
I always tell people in my seminars and email newsletters to look at the numbers and do research, but if you haven't done so yet, I would encourage you to give it a try, even if you think you might be disappointed.
In particular, traditional retailers who purchase and sell goods must quickly adapt to changes in the environment, or they may face irreversible consequences in this day and age.
