The story of a psychiatrist who has consulted with 100,000 people

10万人の悩み相談を受けた精神科医のお話
Hello! This is Orcel Saito.

The other day, I had the opportunity to hear from a psychiatrist who claims to have received 100,000 consultations about problems.

・I'm worried about my relationships with my family or coworkers
・I don't have any money
Being bullied
I did something bad
I can't quit my addiction
I became depressed

He has received all kinds of consultations, such as:
However, while you might think that with 100,000 people there would be 100,000 different original worries, it turns out that this is not the case at all.

"Everyone has the same worries"

That was the teacher's answer.

People worry about many things and tend to think that these are misfortunes that only happen to them and that there is nothing they can do about them.
However, the problem is that the problem is exactly the same as the problem that someone else, perhaps the person next to you right now, is having.

So how to deal with this problem?

It's not about trying to "solve" it, but about trying to "resolve" it.

You can't solve your problems 100% right away, but by asking someone to listen to your worries and doing what you can one thing at a time to reduce your worries by even 1%, you will come up with ideas and motivation.

And the most important thing is to put it into words.

"If you feel confused, your worries will only increase.
Above all, it's important to first write down your worries and thoughts on paper."

That's the story.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been supporting my clients' e-commerce and business ventures for the past 20 years.
Although we are nowhere near the 100,000 cases that psychiatrists have treated, we have still listened to tens of thousands of clients' business concerns.

among them,

"Worries can be categorized, yet people think that their own worries are their own"

"Unlike problems of the heart, in business we are fortunate to have many powerful theories to solve them, but we don't use them."

"We can't solve it all at once, so we end up just maintaining the status quo and doing nothing, which makes the problem worse."

"They only have vague, self-centered thoughts, and have not put them into words or analyzed them logically."

That's what I always think.

Also, as someone who runs a business myself, I understand all too well why this happens.

It is said that "the Fourth Industrial Revolution is just beginning, thanks to technologies such as AI," but the world of e-commerce is in the midst of major changes, and many people are finding it difficult to continue doing things their own way.

The next seminar will hopefully be a solution to this problem.
