Hello! This is Orcel Saito.
This year, it's already March 3rd, Hinamatsuri.
While the weather is getting warmer and more enjoyable, it is also the time when hay fever becomes more severe, and many people are probably suffering from it.
According to information from the Japan Weather Agency, there are more flies than usual in areas other than Hokkaido and Kyushu, and there are particularly many in Shikoku, Kinki, Tokai, Kanto Koshin.
I also suffer from hay fever, and have tried various things, such as taking 10 tablets of medicine (two tablets per day), spraying my face with pollen-blocking spray, and sticking stickers on my nose, but nothing has worked very well and I continue to suffer from sleep deprivation.
One thing that I've found very useful this year is a cooling Thai sniff called "Yardum."
It's very cool.
If you hold it close to your nose, apply it around your nose, or stick it in, your nose will become clearer all at once.
Thai people apparently use ya doms mainly to change their mood or to stay awake, and according to one of our staff members who studied abroad in Thailand, everyone would stick ya doms up their noses during class.
You can buy three bottles on Amazon for about 842 yen.
Three bottles are enough to get you through the hay fever season.
If you're like me and nothing you do works, I highly recommend you give Yardum a try.
