Whether your sales are going well or are a little sluggish, the first thing you should check is the "comparison with last year."
How have your sales and traffic changed compared to the same month last year?
If it's growing, that's OK!
If it is declining, analyze the reasons and improve it.
・10% growth per year → 1.6 times in 5 years
・20% growth every year → 2.5 times in 5 years
・On the other hand, a 10% decrease every year → roughly halved in 5 years...
If you are aiming for rapid growth, it may be a good idea to track the numbers by replacing last year's comparison with the previous month's comparison.
If you can grow 20% every month, you will triple your business in six months.
Rivals are important, but I encourage you to try competing against your past self.
By the way, I have been abstaining from alcohol since I drank alcohol in Okinawa on New Year's Day in preparation for my health check-up in March.
Today marks 30 days of sobriety.
