Average sales price of website M&A

Hello! This is Orcel Saito.

There seems to be a lot of buying and selling of companies these days.
It's M&A.

We receive letters saying things like, "There is a listed company that we would like to buy from," or we receive inquiries through our inquiry form. Some people even find my Facebook or Linkedin accounts, which I don't use at all, and send me messages directly from there.

There may be many sales people coming to your company.

Recently, not only is the buying and selling of companies common, but M&A of websites is also on the rise.

Recently, the number of M&A platforms on websites has been increasing, and the amount of transactions seems to be increasing as well.

As a test, we posted a listing on our website with a desired selling price of 5 million yen, and several companies responded immediately wanting to buy it.

I don't plan on selling it because I think I can raise the price even more, but I think the business of developing a website for a year or two before selling it is gradually growing.

If you have a solid understanding of SEO, it is a business that anyone can do and does not require any purchasing.

If you're okay with a lower selling price, you might be able to turn it over in a quicker timeframe by managing it for about three months and making it look attractive enough to be bought before selling it.

I think it will be even faster if you combine it with social media effectively.

By the way, the average selling price on the M&A platform I have used seems to be 710,000 yen.

If you take a look, you'll find a variety of websites and e-commerce sites, so it might be interesting to take a look.

On the other hand, it can also be fun to pretend to be a buyer and access the site.

Even if you don't actually buy anything, you can see how many hits each site gets.

By checking out various things, you may find some hints for running an e-commerce business or starting a new business.
