Thank you for your support. This is Orcel Saito.
On Tuesday, we held an online discussion-style study session for e-commerce store managers.
Although the participants were from a variety of industries and had a variety of business models, we all discussed a wide range of topics, and I learned a lot from them.
The contents of the discussion are as follows:

・Real numbers for Rakuten advertising
・What you need to do to increase the number of visitors without advertising

・On the other hand, the problems and solutions faced by online shops that sell purchased products

From the participants,
"I was able to understand the concerns of others and had a really fun time sharing the same experiences!"
"I thought it was great that in a remote meeting, you can say things that are difficult to say in emails or written text, but don't leave a lasting impression."
"I hope you will continue to help store managers who are struggling alone."
I received the following kind words.
I became convinced that study sessions like this are necessary, as they not only allow participants to share their concerns and gain real-life experiences and information, but also boost motivation.
We would like to hold a second event, so if you are interested, please come along.
What I personally learned the most was the importance of branding.
With the number of e-commerce rivals increasing rapidly, listening to everyone's stories has made me realize once again that it is essential to not only take actions that directly lead to product sales, but also to work on branding.
Many people avoid shop and product branding because it is not visible and it is unclear whether it is effective, but even if you are opening a store in a shopping mall such as Rakuten Market, it is something that must be done in order to differentiate your store and products from rival stores.
I hope you will find this useful.
Once again, thank you so much to everyone who participated!!
