Ten years ago, I visited a company to make a proposal.
At that time, the store was on Rakuten Market.
We came to see them because they wanted to increase sales on Rakuten Ichiba, but as we talked, we became convinced that it would be quicker to help them with sales themselves rather than increasing Rakuten's sales, so we decided to revamp the branding and sell the product through Crossover, a group company.
This is a home solar energy storage system for use in emergencies.
We have never sold directly, but have sold through distributors, and even now, 10 years later, sales have continued uninterrupted.
We have introduced it to our customers, and there are several of them who are still helping us with sales.
Some of our customers from over 10 years ago may remember us from when we were recruiting agents.
There have been some minor model changes, but this year, 10 years later, the product has undergone a complete model change and upgrade.
At first, we expected demand to come from urban areas, but when we looked into it, we found that most of the buyers were from rural areas.
Since the product is perfect as a commemorative gift for a construction company's roof-raising ceremony, we did not initially expect it to be purchased by local construction companies in particular.
This has led to a major change in our marketing strategy.
We are a company that provides e-commerce solutions, but when other marketing methods are faster than online stores, we go beyond online stores and propose better sales methods.
The sales method adopted for this product is the agency system.
Of course we want to increase sales for our online shop, but we also love selling outside of our online shop, so if you have any products you would like to sell, please feel free to contact us.

March is coming to an end again this year in the blink of an eye.
We will be entering our 17th term tomorrow.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to continue working for the company for so long.
